International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking - Pledge Campaign

The NSS Units 008 and 171 in association with the Anti-Drug Cell and Anti-Narcotic Cell, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri observed the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26th June 2025. As part of the awareness initiative, a pledge campaign was organized at 11:30 AM.  The campaign aimed to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to stay committed to a drug-free life. Faculty members and students actively participated in the event, showcasing their collective resolve to stand against substance abuse.
The anti-drug pledge led by Hana Fathima, 5th semester BSc Chemistry student and active NSS volunteer. With clarity and conviction, she read out the pledge, which was repeated by the gathering in unison. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of responsibility and solidarity as students and staff joined hands to reaffirm their commitment to a healthy and drug-free campus.
