ETCES College for Advanced Studies is an offspring of Ernad Taluk Co-operative Educational Society Ltd. No. M-311, Manjeri. The Society has its humble beginnings in 1982 from the noble dreams of a group of unemployed youth in and around Manjeri to start an educational institution for providing employment to qualified youth and create a facility for students from the economically weaker section of society to fulfill their needs for higher learning. This led to the establishment of Ernad Taluk Co-operative College in 1983 in a rented building in Pandikkad Road, Manjeri.

Right from the very beginning, the college was able to attach a good number of students from various sections of society and in due course the college was shifted to own building near Vayaparappadi, Manjeri. During the last 4 decades of its existence, the college has contributed much to the realm of higher learning by running so many U.G and P.G Programs under distance mode. The success story of the college is appreciable thanks to the yeoman services of its Teachers and efficient Management.
Ernad Taluk Co-operative Educational Society decided to start an affiliated college-ETCES College for Advanced Studies in the year 2022. The Society purchased 5 acres of land in Manjeri municipal area and fulfilled all requirements for obtaining affiliation from the Calicut University.
